Finally Getting Started

So, I've definitely had this blog name for a little while. When I was writing for www.lezgetreal.com as their "Lez Be Fashionable" column writer, I came up with this lovely blog. While I was the "fashion expert" for Lez Get Real I was posting weekly, 2 butch looks and 1 femme. I am entirely femme and feel more at home and more excited about talking about dresses, jewelry and shoes.

Now, if I could sew I'd be making everything I own, or at least buying cheap and altering to make it mine. But, alas, I cannot sew except for a horrible hand stitch that holds a certain "home-made crafty" charm.

SO, here I am. Fat, sassy, and a bargain shopper. I fit somewhere in the realm of an "hourglass" shape, although I have a bitch of a time finding ANY pants that fit. Tight on the waist and HUGE on the legs. Oy. I tend to gravitate towards dresses and flats (heels if I'm going out and I know I'll be sitting most the time). Dresses are comfortable, figure flattering, and easily customizable with the right accessories.

That was my introduction blog, hopefully within the next couple days I'll be showing you guys some of my favorite pieces I already own and introduce you to the ones I'll be getting in the future.
